Tempered Body Dance Theatre is a London-based dance collective that was founded in 2007. Since its inception, Maddy has worked with the dancers of the company to make socio-politcial work that has toured nationally and internationally. TBDT has built a reputation in the UK dance scene, consistently producing quality dance theatre that tackles difficult and culturally significant subject matters.

Maddy is director and resident choreographer of the company.  Her passion for collaboration has facilitated partnerships, through her choreography, with composers, writers, lighting designers, geneticists, and ethicists, creating “modern, expressive dance, on a very high level” (UK Theatre Network)

 

Tempered Body's projects are supported by Arts Council England, and it is an Associate Company at Rich Mix.
